Our bulldog mix would scarf down food in under 20 seconds with a regular food bowl. The first time we used this skid stop bowl, it took her a good 5 minutes. She's since learned some tricks to speed up the eating process, but it still takes her at least a couple minutes to eat, which is a huge improvement and makes us less worried about bloat and any other issues that come up with eating too fast.
